AKOSI represents the process of finding who we are and learning to accept ourselves. "AKOSI" roughly translates into English from Tagalog to "I am". This simple statement holds so much power. I am strong, I am worthy, I am loved. The phrase "I am" allows an individual to decide their identity and reality. With that said, it is us who deicides what we are. That is easier said than done because sometimes through hardship and pain, it is difficult to see who that person in the mirror is. This is the goal of AKOSI to foster self-love, self-exploration, and coming into power who we are. Who do you live for? If not for you, then who? If for yourself, who are you?
