The lotus flower represents rebirth, strength, and reawakening. It is a reminder that no matter what we go through we can still bloom into something beautiful, like the lotus flower that grows through the mud. “Rebirth/reawakening” is the idea that everyday we have the choice to reinvent ourselves to decide who we want to be. "REAWAKENING" TEE
This piece was inspired from my time I spent solo traveling in NY this summer. I learned that the people who are meant to be in your life will always stay in your life. You never really lose people because they were never meant to stay. With that said, the only person I’ve lost was myself. This year for me has been a constant battle of figuring out who I am? What do I want? And what I’m doing this all for? The front of the piece is to represent an ace up your sleeve, and that ace is you. This is because when you bet on yourself, you win every time.
